TUCSON, Ariz. — Several conventions and clinics for baseball coaches are scheduled around the nation:
 
Clinic: Stabilizer Solutions Field Day, a groundskeeping event
Date: November 1, 2011 8 a.m. to noon
Location: Angels Stadium, Anaheim, CA
Speakers: Barney Lopas, head groundskeeper for the Angeles, and Lisa Fernandez, three-time Olympic medalist and assistant women’s softball coach at UCLA.
Cost: FREE, includes complimentary lunch and raffle prizes.

Clinic: National High School Baseball Coaches Association Convention
Date: December 1-4, 2011

Clinic: 67th Annual American Baseball Coaches Association Convention
Date: January 5-8, 2012

Clinic: 39th Annual Be The Best You Are Coaches Clinic
Date: January 12-14, 2012
Location: Cherry Hill, NJ

Date: January 16, 2012
Location: Greenville HS Auditorium, Greenville, IL (45 minutes east of St. Louis)
Speakers: John Mallee, ex-Marlins hitting coach; Tim Jamieson, University of Missouri; Andy Haines, Florida Marlins; and others.
Cost: $50 for first coach, $40 for second coach; $30 for each additional coach or staff rate of $150 (4-7 coaches). At door registration is an extra $10 per coach. Doughnuts and lunch are provided.
