He could remember your name the first day of class. Also, if you played in his softball class you had to tryout and get drafted. The only activity class I ever took where people who graduated came back to play. The only other coach that could fill an auditorium was John Wooden. His clinics were priceless.

I was there with Coach in 1990. I played for him and was mentored by him. There are so many more great stories and memories. There are so many coaches influencing athletes today in a positive way because of Coach. He lives on via those that learned from him. Great man, great coach, great father, great husband and the list goes on.
