I also know that he learned valuable life lessons under his tutelage and it is shame to see the extremely poor polictics that have gone on in this situation. This article paints a picture that is dificult to refute. You can go back and forth in court proceedings and I am sure everyone will try to justify their positions. The bottom line though is that Coach Holowaty made SIGNIFICANT contributions to the entire Eastern Connecticut Unniversity… not just baseball and it is sad commentary on the times that we live in that this type of thing can happen to a man that has shown so much commitment to young men in their lives. I am sickened to hear this story and unfortunately believe that the true story will not be completely embraced and the damage to Coach and his family has been done. The true justice though is that Coach Holowaty knows what he has accomplished over the years and so do the many, many peoples that had their lives postively touched by him. You can hold your head high Coach when you look in the mirror and that is what winning is all about! A HUGE thank you is owed to you for being a significant mentor in my brother’s life. I know he is a better son, husband, father & family member due to having you in his life.
